Naagin fame Shalin Bhanot recently visited ailing veteran actor Anupam Shyam in the hospital for help. Anupam Shyam of Pratigya fame's brother had recently revealed that he is in the ICU and urgently needs a kidney transplant. Shalin Bhanot is the first actor to actually visit the veteran actor in the hospital for help.
Sonu Sood and Manoj Bajpai have already pledged to help him financially.
Shalin has offered his help to Anupam Shyam so that he can get through this phase, recover and hopefully come back home soon.
Shalin was spotted outside the hospital.
The veteran actor’s brother Anurag has been seeking monetary help. He recently told Bombay Times, "His condition deteriorated and I got him admitted to the hospital on Monday night. He has exhausted all his savings on medical expenses. I borrowed some money from people for his dialysis around 10 days ago. The doctors have suggested a kidney transplant. We have no clue how we will get it done, as he doesn’t have enough money for it."
Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) also shared a post requesting donations for the actor.
Anupam Shyam’s brother also added, "Anupam bhaiyya has been diabetic for almost 40 years and also has high blood pressure. A few years ago, he had also suffered a heart problem and the doctors had then told him that he had a blockage. He was put on heavy medication, which harmed his kidneys. It resulted in pulmonary edema. He was required to undergo dialysis regularly, but he stopped it about a year ago due to money crunch."
