Piku director Shoojit Sircar seeks ban on reality TV shows involving kids

Piku director Shoojit Sircar has asked concerned authorities to immediately ban all the reality shows that have kids.
Noted director in his tweet wrote that such reality TV shows destroy them 'emotionally.'
He tweeted: "Humble request to authorities to urgently ban all reality shows involving children.it's actually destroying them emotionally & their purity."

Shoojit had also directed a short film "#ReleaseThePressure", which was about the family and peer pressure children face during exams.

TV shows involving kids have been on air for a while now. Indian Idol Jr, Sabse Bada Kalakar, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs, Super Dancer has kids as the main focus and many parents make special efforts to make their children a platform to peform.
