, might not be from the state, but she says she is fascinated by Rajasthani culture. She says, “The culture of Rajasthan has always been a part of my life, thanks to folk dances like Kalbeliya and Ghoomar. When I was in school in Nagpur, I would teach these dance forms to all foreign students who would visit us as a part of our cultural-exchange programmes. I was always fascinated by the traditional attire and jewellery that I would wear while performing these dances.”

She went shopping in Jaipur when she was here recently to promote her ongoing show. “I headed to the market and picked up a lehariya sari and mojris. I have also ordered a beautiful kundan-meena set, which will soon be in my collection.”

There were rumours about her quitting Nagarjuna. Pooja says, “I have been getting calls from people, including my fellow actors, asking me why I am quitting the show. I am clueless about how the rumour started. If I were to leave the show, why would I promote it?”
