Ridhima Pandit’s powerful stand against harassment inspired by her late mother’s strength; say, “My mom taught me to never be weak'
Actress Ridhima Pandit, known for her robotic portrayal in Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant and has been part of Bigg Boss OTT. Behind the camera, she has always been admired for her confidence and authenticity, she recently opened up in a candid podcast with Hindi Rush about how she became emotionally strong and self-reliant. The actress credited her late mother for shaping her into the resilient woman she is today.
Ridhima says, “My mom was a strong and dominant person. She always taught me to be strong, to never be weak or dependent on anyone. Her strength has been my biggest inspiration.” This bond and guidance, she revealed, continue to influence her deeply even today.
Recalling a real-life incident that left an impact on her, Ridhima spoke about a moment when she was on her way to Madh Island for a shoot. She saw a young Gen Z couple on the road, where the boy was clearly harassing the girl. She shared, “I expected a man who was walking by to intervene because it would have been more impactful coming from him, but he didn’t even look their way. That really bothered me.”
Disappointed by the bystander’s apathy, Ridhima emphasized how she always takes a stand for what’s right, whether it’s for herself or others. She says, “I’m someone who can’t stay silent when something wrong is happening. I’ve always been like that, thanks to my mother’s teachings.”
Ridhima's words serve as a reminder of the importance of courage, compassion, and standing up for what’s right, values that clearly reflect in her both as a person and an artist.
