Riya Bhattacharje on her role Kajri in new show ‘Nath’

Riya Bhattacharje will be seen in a totally different avatar in new show Nath. The actress had shared her look, wearing a traditional lehenga. The show released on August 23.
Talking about her character in particular, she said, “When I had auditioned for the role, I had no idea I would get selected, it was a tough role to bag, I wanted to play this role because it challenges me, as an actor.I am really excited to do the character of Kajri, this would be a short role with an impactful presence in the show.”

“I always wanted to try something bold like how Kareena did on screen in Chameli and Nath was the perfect opportunity for that”, she added. “Kajri is a slave, a victim of the Nath Pratha, she was first sold off to a rich family at a young age but now, he is bored of her and decides to get another young replacement.”
Lastly she says, “I just hope that the audience like my character on screen and keep loving me as they have been doing for a long time.”
Riya was last seen in the show Ishq Mein Marjawan 2. The show stars Chahat Pandey and Arijit Taneja in the lead roles.
