Sidharth Shukla’s body has reached crematorium; family, friends and fans attend in huge gathering

Actor Sidharth Shukla’s body is brought directly to the crematorium from Cooper Hospital today (September 3). There’s a huge gathering of fans and media as they try to catch glimpse of the late actor for one last time. Initially, his body was supposed to be brought to his residence.
Family and friends, who were waiting at his residence to pay their last respect, headed to the crematorium.The last rites of Sidharth Shukla will be performed at Oshiwara crematorium later in the day. 'Balika Vadhu' actress Pratyusha's last rites were also performed there. First vidhi according to Brahmakumaris will be performed and then the normal rituals will be held.



An ambulance decorated with flowers was outside Cooper hospital to take Sidharth's mortal remains for the final rites.

According to reports there are "no external or internal injuries found in body". The viscera report, which determines the cause of death under suspicious circumstances when autopsies are unconvincing, is still on hold. The doctors have reserved their opinion on the post mortem report.
Sidharth Shukla’s demise yesterday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest sent shockwaves through the industry. The 40-year-old actor was rushed to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, but hospital authorities said he was dead when brought in.

Several friends from the industry visited Sidharth Shukla’s residence last evening. Right from Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao to Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni, Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Gauahar Khan and many others came to pay their last respects. They grieved the actor’s sudden demise.

Shehnaaz Gill was by his side when Sidharth breathed his last.
Sidharth is survived by his mother and two sisters. His friends and colleagues expressed shock and grief while grappling to come to terms with the news.
