Moving away from Bollywood and other influential celebrities, Simi Garewal grilled popular cricketer Yuvraj Singh on Simi Selects India’s Most Desirable.
This southpaw let himself loose on the show. From a special bhangra number for the audiences, to some startling confessions about his personal life, Yuvraj absolutely bowled over both the host and the audiences. The cricketer revealed that it was tough growing up in a broken home (his parents separated when he was 14), but he soldiered on with the love and support of his mum and the spiritual guidance of his guru.Said Yuvraj “My father was a cricketer but could not make it big, so he wanted me to fulfill his dream.” Well, the dream was fulfilled and how! Yuvraj has an innate self belief. “I had a lot of support from my team mates and from Sachin. So, even when I got dropped, I trusted my ability and wanted to get back quickly,” he stated.
