Sooraj Thapar shifted from Goregaon hospital to Lilavati for COVID-19 treatment, confirms friend

The actor has been suffering from COVID-19 and he developed symptoms a few days back, after which he was rushed to a hospital.

A few days ago, Sooraj Thapar was admitted to a hospital in Goregaon after he tested positive for COVID-19. However, since his situation did not improve, Sooraj has been moved to Lilavati hospital in Bandra.
We could not reach Sooraj or his wife Dipti Thapar, but a friend close to the family, said, "Sooraj had been admitted to a hospital in Goregaon when he tested positive for the virus.
His situation was not improving and doctors suggested that he should be moved to a bigger hospital. Therefore, he has been shited to Lilavati, in Bandra. We are hoping and praying that he recovers soon."
Sooraj is currently seen playing the role of Tej Sabarwal in the show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani. This was one of the many shows that had shifted base to Goa after shooting were stalled in Maharashtra last month. However when Goa imposed a lockdown, cast and crew of shows returned to Mumbai. The show has Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha playing the lead roles.
Sooraj developed COVID symptoms when he returned from Goa. He had high fever and had to immediately rushed to the hospital. While he tested negative at the Goa airport, he developed symptoms when he reached his home in Mumbai. His family admitted him to a hospital in Goregoan.
Sooraj has been part of many TV shows and films. He has done TV shows like Razia Sultan, Udaan, Akbar Ka Bal...Birbal and many more. It has been over a decade for him in the entertainment industry.
