​Sridevi's TV co-star Mahesh Thakur expresses grief over the actress' shocking demise

Legendary actress Sridevi passed away last night leaving the country in a state of distress. Not just the Bollywood and Television industry but also the western media has paid tribute to the late actress.
The Television world seems to have been in a state of despair. Taking you back on a trip down memory lane, Sridevi has also had a great connect with the TV fans as well.The actress had produced and acted in a popular light-hearted daily soap titled Malini Iyer, a decade ago.
Her co-star from the show Mahesh Thakur seems to be devastated on hearing of the terrible loss. Mahesh had essayed the role of Sridevi aka Malini's husband in the show.
He took to social media in expressing his emotions and offering condolence to his now late former co-star. He shared a collage of clicks from the show and captioned it as, "

Malini Iyer was aired from January 2004 to January 2005. The show also starred Sharad Vyas, Tanushree Kaushal and Vinay Pathak.
Sridevi passed away after a massive cardiac arrest when in Dubai, state reports, The actress was in the country to attend here nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding along with her family. Elder daughter Jahnvi could not tag along due to work commitments.
