Sumona Chakraborty repeats her sarees on Durga Puja 2023; says, “I decided not to buy a single one this year”

With Maha Ashtami yesterday, TV celebs dressed up in their best outfits and celebrated Durga Puja with their loved ones. The Kapil Sharma Show fame Sumona Chakraborty also visited the pandals and offered prayers to goddess Durga.
Sumona shared a series of images on her social media giving fans a glimpse of her experience. She also revealed about not buying a single saree this festive season and repeating each one of them.
Sumona Chakraborty joined Rani Mukherji, Ishita Datta and others to celebrate the holy Durga Puja.She visited the pandal along with many popular celebs on Saptami and Ashtami and gave a sneak peek into it on social media. However, what caught many eyes was Sumona’s captioned where she revealed not buying a single outfit this time.
The caption read, “Day 2 Shubho Saptami c This year i decided to repeat my sarees & not buy a single one. P.s Thank you Maa for the beautiful hand painted grey saree.”
The comedian and actress also posed with Bollywood diva Rani Mukherjee for the pictures and was seen celebrating the occasion with her.

Sumona also performed the Dhunuchi dance wearing a pretty red saree in front of Maa.
