Keeping her promise to her younger brother Naveen, actor Tia Bajpai made a flying visit of just a few hours to her hometown Lucknow on Rakshabandhan.
Tia, who was last seen as lead in Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted 3D and 1920-Evil Returns, reached Lucknow on Saturday evening and spent the evening with her family. “It was such a rushed trip but Rakshabandhan is one day when Naveen and I have to be together.
If I’m not able to come home, then I call him to Mumbai,” said Tia, who flew back to Mumbai on Sunday afternoon after tying the rakhi.
Meanwhile, keeping his side of the promise, Naveen had a beautiful surprise in store for Tia. “Naveen gave me a suit but what was even more touching was that he got me a dupatta which I had seen a long time ago in Mumbai and liked a lot, but had not bought. Naveen is such a darling, he ordered that dupatta online for me. In fact, I wore that same suit and dupatta for the ceremony,” Tia told us.
With a lot of action happening on the professional front too, Tia says the reason for her short visit was work. “The promotions for my next release are on, so I just couldn’t get more time to spend at home. I have also just finished shooting for a third titled Baankey Ki Crazy Baraat,” she informed.
