Udaariyaan update, August 22: Aasma supports Alia’s decision

In the latest episode of Udaariyaan, Alia expresses her desire to marry Suraj to Ekam, who strongly opposes the idea. They argue about it, with Alia insisting on her decision. Family members intervene and ask Alia about Suraj. Meanwhile, Armaan suspects Alia is discussing him with her father.

The latest episode of Udaariyaan begins with Alia telling Ekam that she wants to get married to Suraj. Ekam tells her that he won’t let her marry Suraj at any cost as he lives in Canada. Alia requests him and says that Suraj and she share a great relationship and hence it’s important for her to get married to him. Later, the two get into an argument over the same.Nehmat calms them down and ask them to talk peacefully. However, they refuse to understand and start yelling at each other. While, Alia says that she will get married to Suraj at any cost, Ekam says that he will not let her marry him (Suraj). The family members arrive there and ask Alia who Suraj is. Alia then tells them that she wants to get married to Suraj as he is a great guy and lives in Canada.

Meanwhile, Armaan arrives there and feels that Alia is talking about him to her father. Aasma comes there as well and listens to Alia and Ekam’s conversation. Ekam notices the same and asks her to make Alia understand. Alia resists and asks them why they don’t want her to go to Canada. Nehmat then expresses her concern to Alia saying she doesn’t want to live so far away from her daughter.

Later, Alia bumps into Armaan. She asks him to leave as there are problems in their family. At first Armaan denies and says that he wants to stay there and help her convince her family. However, he later understands the matter and leaves. Aasma notices the same and supports Alia. She says that one should take a stand for their love ones no matter what.
Aasma then invites Ekam and family to her Biji’s birthday. They promise to show up. Armaan comes to the party too. There he meets Alia and Aasma. He worries if he will be able to go to Canada or not. Alia calms him down and says that they will find a way out.

Meanwhile, Harleen feels that Alia will come to Canada in 5 days. However, Alia struggles to get her passport and visa. Armaan continues to get a false visa and passport so that he can leave for Canada with Alia.
