Udaariyaan update, July 26: Alia accepts Nehmat as her mom

In the latest episode of Udaariyaan, Alia recognises Harleen and addresses her as her ‘mom’. Alia is taken to a Gurudwara by Nehmat and Ekam, where she sees a woman praying. Aliya then asks Nehmat what the lady is doing at the temple. Nehmat replies by telling her that the lady is doing pooja. Aliya, who is overjoyed, rushes to do the same as the lady.Further in the reflection of the water, Aliya realizes that it is Harleen, who is doing the pooja. Later, she sees Nehmat, she calls her ‘mom.’
Later everyone finds Harleen asleep on the steps and asks her why she's not going back home. Harleen responds by saying that she doesn't know where her house is. They then wonder why Harleen is behaving like this. Later, Ekam reaches home late. Nehmat asks Ekam where he went. She then hugs him crying and expresses her fear of losing him.
Ekam holds Nehmat's hand and calms her down. Nehmat later asks why he didn't leave by telling her. He apologises to her promises to be there no matter what. Later, they plan Alia’s birthday party. Alia says that she will invite all her friends and introduce them to her mom. Nehmat and Ekam are surprised and happy to hear this. Nehmat then becomes very emotional and hugs her.
As the episode continues, Nehmat and the family watch the news channel on which the reporter says that Ekam caught a dangerous criminal by killing the goons. Nehmat further thanks God for keeping Ekam safe. Harleen also watches the same news and regains her memory. She says that Ekam is her husband and Alia is her daughter. She decides to go to Ekam and Alia as soon as possible.
