WATCH: Historical saga Porus promises to be a grand affair on Television

The new promo of the historical saga Porus is out. Unlike all the daily soaps and reality shows that are aired on the small screen, this one promises to be different in terms of its content and visuals.
The saga, which is set in 350 BC, goes back to the time when India was the richest nation in the world, and called the Golden sparrow.
The plot of the show, hence, centers around two of the greatest warriors of the world - Alexander and Porus.The latest promo sees the actors dressed up in elaborate costumes and has visuals which are larger than life, making it one of the most promising shows to be aired on Television.

The official trailer has been released on the channel's Facebook page, and is captioned, "Alexander - the world’s greatest conqueror & Porus - India's most spirited defender, were born on the same day in two different continents, with two different ideologies. What will happen when these two warriors meet in the battlefield? Watch the story unravel in the magnum opus show #Porus."

The show has been shot in exotic locations outside the country and the sets are not just authentic but grand as well.
