When Shubhangi Atre revealed how intermittent fasting and small meals helped her in staying fit, ‘when I feel good inside...'
Shubhangi Atre, best known for her role as Angoori Manmohan Tiwari in ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain,’ has long been admired for her fitness and glowing screen presence. She made her acting debut with the popular serial, ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay,’ where she played the lead role of 'Kasturi'. Afterward, she appeared in the show ‘Chhidiya Ghar.’ The actress once opened up on how discipline, healthy eating, and mental well-being helped her stay fit despite a busy television schedule.

Shubhangi Atre on fitness and mental well-being

In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Shubhangi Atre shared her fitness routine. It was not only about appearance, but also about mental health. She said, “I believe that being fit isn't just about the body; it's also about having a healthy state of mind. If I'm not mentally well, it's hard to look good on the outside.” She added that eating at the right time and focusing on yoga and stretching helped her stay balanced. According to her, “When I feel good inside, it reflects on how I look outside.”

Her diet, intermittent fasting and small meals

Talking about her diet, Shubhangi revealed that she followed intermittent fasting for a few months and preferred simple, vegetarian food. She explained, “I never overeat; I prefer eating small portions rather than stuffing myself.”
She detailed her routine, saying, “I've found that intermittent fasting has made a significant difference in my body, so I followed it for a few months.”Her day usually began with detox water, fruits, and nuts. Lunch included one chapati with green vegetables and lentils or kidney beans for protein. She also shared, “In the summers, I have buttermilk,” while evenings meant fruits and black coffee, and dinner was always kept light.

Yoga, discipline and where she stands today

Shubhangi also highlighted the role of yoga, stretching, meditation, travel, and music in her life. She said, “When you're disciplined and manage your time well, you know what your body needs.”She added that while she may not work out daily, “I manage to do it two or three times a week, but I make sure to do stretching and Yoga every single day.”Professionally, Shubhangi Atre is best known for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain’. She exited the show recently. The character has now been taken over once again by Shilpa Shinde.
