Why Shweta Munshi ended her marriage

Not many may know that actress Shweta Munshi was going through a rough patch in real life, even while she was busy playing a doting wife and loving mother in Bandhan. The actress officially ended her two-year marriage with a hotelier in 2014.
“It was a love marriage following a brief courtship. I soon realised that we were incompatible. Minor issues escalated and it became difficult to stay under the same roof. I went through a very bad phase and when things came to a head, I decided to end the marriage,” she says.

The actress, who took to meditation to cope with her divorce, is now cautious when it comes to relationships. “If a new relationship or a second marriage is destined, it will happen. As of now, I am single and focussing on my work,” she says.
