‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ March 5 written update: Maira’s ‘Maa’ tattoo blunder breaks Abhira’s heart

The episode starts with Maira returning to the Poddar house for Holi. She goes up to Armaan to put color on him; however, she sees him already drenched in some color. She gets irritated and asks him who put color on him before she could. Before he can say anything, Vidya interrupts them and tells Maira that some other kids did it and that Armaan was not at fault.

The family members all rejoice while meeting Maira, and ask her about her hostel and school life. They also ask her what she misses most from home. Maira meets with Meher as well and asks the entire family if it is fine that she invited her friend. The Poddar family asks who it is and tells her to call her friend over.

Mukti meets the Poddar family again after 8 years

Maira calls Mukti out, leaving Meher shocked, as she is one of the few people who know who Mukti really is. The family asks her about their relations, with Manisha mentioning that Mukti was once the girl that Maira always fought with. Armaan also introduces himself to Mukti, not understanding that it is Vani in front of him.

Armaan asks Mukti to call her mother over as he wants to thank her. He mentions that she had personally asked him not to say anything to Maira after the two of them had fought. Mukti tells them that her mother cannot come as she is not picking up her calls.

Maira finds out the tattoos got mixed up

Meanwhile, Maira takes Armaan aside and shows him her tattoo. He gets shocked seeing the word “Maa” written on her and asks why she got it. At first, she is confused, but when she finds out what she got tattooed, she says that she hates Abhira and that the tattoo was a mistake. Abhira, who had arrived at the party to talk to Meher about the water supply in her area, watches all of this unfold with pain in her eyes.

Later on, Kaveri calls Armaan and Abhira separately for some work; however, she backs out at the last minute. Both of them end up at the party and bump into one another. The episode comes to an end as Armaan gets shocked to see Kaveri’s name on Abhira’s phone.
