Kannada actor Vinay Gowda, who is best known for his portrayal of the mythology character 'Lord Shiva', has a feather on his hat. The actor is all set to make a grand entry into the Telugu television industry.

On the work front, Vinay Gowda recently announced his quit from the devotional TV show 'Yediyuru Sri Siddhalingeshwara'. The actor was seen essaying the role of 'Lord Shiva' in the show.
Speaking about the same with ETimes TV, the actor said, " "It was a very tough decision for me to opt-out. Saying goodbye to once-in-a-lifetime character Mahadeva is heartbreaking. But shooting in this crisis situation is very risky. You never know how you can get transmitted with the virus. Considering the safety of my family members in this crisis situation, I took up the decision to quit 'Yediyuru Sri Siddhalingeshwara'. It is with a heavy heart, I opted to call it a quit from my favorite on-screen character 'Lord Shiva."
