Kannada television is witnessing quite a few dubbed shows in recent times. While some dubbed shows like Mahabharata, Seetheyaraama are gaining popularity, some are set to go off-air.
According to sources, dubbed mythological series 'Om Namah Shivaya', will soon be going off-air owing to low TRP. In fact, Om Namah Shivaya will be marked as the first dubbed show to go off air within a short span from its premiere.
The mythological show is based on the Hindu god 'Lord Shiva'. Also known as Mahadev or the 'God of destruction', the story showcases all the avatars of the god and traces the journey of the god being a family man. The Hindi show went on to air about 820 episodes and managed to entertain the viewers with knowledge and visual treat.
Om Namah Shivaya has actor Mohit Raina, who plays the lead role of Lord Shiva. The actor also portrayed different avatars, Lord Shiva. Mahadev, Kal Bairav, Jatta, Yaksha, Aadi Yogi, Aghora are some of the avatars of Lord Shiva, the actors showcased in the show.
The mythological series also has actress
Sonarika Bhadoria and
Mouni Roy, who have played the lead characters of Parvathi and Sati respectively. the show also had many other actors, who will be seen in prominent mythology characters.
On the other hand, while Kannada TV has already been airing mythological shows like Mahabharat, 'Radhe Kirshna, Devaki Nandana, Om Namah Shivaya was indeed the latest entrant in the club.
