Actress Ashvini, who made her acting comeback after a year, says she is elated about the opportunity.
The actress is presently essaying the character of 'Jhanavi', who is likely to be Muddulakshmi's reincarnation after she breathed her last in a tragic accident in season one of the daily soap.
Although Ashvini seems to be happy about her comeback, she mentioned that it was a long wait for her to bag a new project post the conclusion of Muddulakshmi.
Speaking about the same with ETimes TV, Ashvini said, "Life has been an emotional roller coaster. I expected that I would be getting better opportunities after Muddulakshmi went off-air. But, it did not happen that way. Since I have chosen to be in this field, I opted to wait for the doors to open. There was a time when I questioned myself about the choices I made regarding my career. Nevertheless, coming back to the same show with the extended version is refreshing."
Muddulakshmi came in as a blessing to me
"Muddulakshmi ended on a tragic note. I was emotionally connected with the show. It was a long-run show that went on to air 1200 episodes successfully amidst all odds. So, definitely, it did take a lot of time for me to come to terms with the show concluded its journey. Muddulakshmi came in as a blessing to me as I played the titular role in it. I can proudly say that I was part of a very beautiful show."
She continued by saying, "After Muddulakshmi ended, I never thought I would ever be making a comeback in the extended version of the show. Interestingly, my comeback in Muddumanigalu happened on the exact date when I started my journey as Muddulakshmi in 2018. I feel it's all the positive signs the universe has planned for me. I feel so grateful to connect with these."
Having said that, Ashvini summed up by saying. "As an actor, every artist is open to taking up challenging roles in their career. I am sure most of them will agree with this. Likewise, I do not have any limitations in exploring my acting skills. I am up for any character that comes my way. if I find it interesting, I will definitely give it a nod and take it forward."
