Kamali are visiting colleges across
Karnataka to create awareness on the impact of ragging on college students. The campaign has been launched today by visiting Surana College at Kengeri and Peenya and Sri Lakshmi group of institutions
In a novel approach aimed to connect students fraternity, the programme in each college will feature a skit performed by a four-member troupe that showcases how ragging can have adverse effect on students. Following the skit and games, Kamali-styled postcards will be handed over to the students which features anti ragging message. These postcards will urge affected students to speak out and share their experiences. The channel’s representatives on location will address grievances and guide them accordingly.
Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Raghavendra Hunsur, Business Head of Zee Kannada said, “Ragging has been a persistent issue in the country and we have taken it upon ourselves to see how best we can curb this issue. With our newly-launched show Kamali in the forefront of this campaign, our intent is to spread awareness on the after-effects of ragging among the student community and to give courage those who have been affected.”
