New daily show Sundari to premiere today

Kannada television is set to welcome a new show again. While there have been a lot of new shows on Kannada TV lately, the latest to join the club is 'Sundari'.
The show is being launched today (January 11) on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Kannada General Entertainment Channel (GEC).
Sundari is the story of a girl who faces discrimination for her dark-skin, but yet she fights against adversities in life.She has a generous heart but struggles to find the right guy to get married to. Undejected, she works hard to become an IAS officer. Her journey towards achieving her goal takes her through many ups and downs in life and she firmly believes that inner beauty is more important than physical appearance, which forms the crux of the story.
The show has actors Sameeip Acharya and Aishwarya Pisse in the lead role. While Aishwarya Pisse was last seen on TV playing the lead role in the show 'Sarvamangala Mangalye', Sameeip is also not new to the Kannada audience. He was last seen in the daily soap 'Raksha Bandhana' in a pivotal role.
Sundari also marks the comeback of ace actor Ramesh Aravind on TV. After the popular supernatural fiction 'Nandini', Ramesh Aravind has yet again turned producer for the upcoming show 'Sundari'.
