Popular daily soap Jothe Jotheyalli completes 800 episodes

Daily soap Jothe Jotheyalli has successfully completed the run of 800 episodes on Kannada television. The show is one of the most-watched daily soaps on Kannada TV.
According to the TRP reports, Jothe Jotheyalli has always been one of the top five shows on Kannada television.
Jothe Jotheyalli narrates the love story of a young lady and a middle-aged businessman irrespective of their age gap.Although the show was speculated to be a remake of the popular Marathi daily soap 'Tula Pahate Re', it features interesting tweaks as per the taste and sensibilities of Kannada viewers.
The daily soap recently witnessed a change in its timeslot. The show, which has been telecast in the prime time slot so far, will be aired at 9:30 PM now. The channel airing the show has rescheduled the timings of the daily soap since it is gearing up for the launch of new shows.
On the other hand, Jothe Jotheyalli recently made headlines when the lead actor Anirudha Jatkar was ousted from the show owing to his rude behavior.
The Kannada television producer association decided to ban the actor from appearing in any TV shows for the next two years owing to his alleged rude behavior on the sets of the show.
