Shruti Naidu offers financial aid to Mysuru’s senior artistes

Television director and producer Shruti Naidu is doing her bit for senior artistes in a financial crisis post-COVID as they are not getting many opportunities to perform live.
Shruti Naidu says, “Senior artists would perform every year during Dasara celebrations, but due to the pandemic, they are unable to perform which has put them in financial straits.On the occasion of Dasara, we extended a small financial support and felicitated them for their service, at our restaurant in Mysuru.”
The event was graced by actors Pramod, Mandya Ramesh, Veena Sundar, Sundar, Sunil Puranik and Vanitha Vasu.
Shruti is currently producing the show, Sangarsha, which is about district collector Indira’s fight to have a school in a remote village. A special wedding episode of the same serial was recently shot at Gosai Ghat in Srirangapatna.
