Singer and Ex- Bigg Boss Malayalam contestant Amritha Suresh has lodged a police complaint against former inmate Daya Aswathy and an online streaming channel. The singer has filed a defamation and cyber harassment case against the individual and the Youtube channel at Palarivattom Police Station, Kochi.
Sharing the screenshot of both the complaints, Amritha said that she is strongly taking a stand against the 'false hood'.
Taking a stand'"Taking a Stand Against Falsehood: Today, I'm sharing a significant step I've taken to address a disturbing incident. I've filed a police complaint against the YouTube channel 'Mystery Malayali' for spreading a false video saying that Amrutha's daughter is no more – not me, but my identity exploited for clickbait. For too long, I've endured the repercussions of false news, character attacks, and hurtful stories, all aimed at tarnishing my family's reputation. My silence ends now. I want to send a clear message to those who think they can spread baseless information without consequences. This incident has gone too far, dragging my innocent daughter into a situation that's beyond bearable. As a single mother, my responsibility is to shield her from harm, even in the digital realm.
To those who spread lies and fake news about me and my family, know that I'm taking legal action. It's time to stop the cycle of misinformation and think before you share. Let's foster a more truthful and respectful online space. #FightingFalsehoods #TakingAStand #ProtectingMyFamily",' she wrote.

In yet another post, Amritha has also talked about the harassment by content creator and former
Bigg Boss Malayalam contestant Daya Aswathy.
Seeking resolution'"Sharing my recent step towards seeking resolution: Today, I've lodged a police complaint against Miss Daya Aswathy. Over the past two years, her continuous efforts to defame me through her Facebook videos left me with no choice but to take this action. I believe in addressing issues through proper channels, and I hope for a fair resolution. #SeekingResolution #TakingAStand",' she shared.
Recently, Amritha's sister and singer Abhirami also shared a video slamming the youtube channel for the misleading video.
Amritha Suresh was one of the popular contestants in the iconic music reality show, 'Star Singer'. After the show, she was seen as a successful playback singer. Later, Amritha and her sister Abhirami made an entry into the second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam as wildcards.
