Mounaragam: Manu lies to Sarayu and Dona about his father

The popular show 'Mounaragam' continues to win hearts with its unexpected twists and turns in the storyline. After the much-awaited wedding of Sarayu and Manu, the show is progressing with an interesting plot.
In the recent episode, Manu and Sarayu are seen doing some post wedding rituals with the former's relatives. However, Manu pretends to be sad about his father's condition.He says it is disappointing that his father is in ICU during his wedding. Seeing him upset, Sarayu also feels disturbed. Meanwhile, Dona calls Manu's phone and he manages to attend to it without Sarayu's notice.

Over the phone, Dona panics and asks about Manu's father's condition. He lies that his father is still in the ICU and they have shifted him to Pathanamthitta. Talking about their engagement, Dona feels bad for Manu. She asks whether he is thinking it is because of her bad luck. Manu consoles her. He asks her not to call him for some time since he is upset.
The next day, Sarayu's parents Shari and Rahul and reach Manu's home. They enquire about the health of Manu's father and the latter lies about it. Later, Rahul talks about his daughter's stubborn nature. Manu replies that he will love Sarayu unconditionally.

On the other hand, Sarayu requests Shari to take her to their place. She also convinces Rahul to discuss the same with Manu.
'Mounaragam' is one of the popular shows on Malayalam TV. The show which portrays the life of a speech-impaired girl, Kalyani, is much loved for the striking chemistry between Naleef and Aishwarya. As per the recent TRP ratings, the show is in 2nd place in the top 5 most-watched shows on Malayalam TV.
