My father sold peanuts to take care of the family, recollects Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Basheer Bashi on Father's day

The former Bigg Boss Malayalam contestant Basheer Bashi is a doting father. The telly audience has witnessed his emotions as a father during the show. The social media star was seen in tears many a time on missing his dear kids inside BB house.
In a candid chat with TimesofIndia.com, Basheer Bashi shared the excitement of being a cool dad and a proud son.
When asked about his feeling as a father, the cool dad expressed he can't express the emotion.He also added that the feeling is no different than how a mother feels.
"Being a father is also a bliss. We don't carry the child for 10 months but from the day the wife gets pregnant, the father starts dreaming about the baby. They always chant for a healthy baby. Also, it is the love and care of a husband makes the pregnancy better for a woman," he says.
The businessman went emotional and shared, "A guy transforms into a man when he becomes a father. When the kid's need becomes your priority, you realise that you are transforming into a new man."
Talking about the long 85 days inside Bigg Boss house, Basheer expressed that he was missing his family terribly and confessed that he even thought of quitting the show.
"I was very guilty about missing the first birthday of my son. Also, I started missing them from the second day. I was getting anxious about how they will cope up without me. This badly affected my mental and physical health," Basheer recollects.
Basheer also added that the sight of his son smiling while returning from the airport was bigger than winning the reality show.
Recollecting the best moment with his father, Basheer opened up that his father is the one who made him a better family man.
"My father was a street vendor who sold peanuts. Every day I saw him struggling for us, his eight children. I can never be a bad father because my father was the best," he expresses.
Talking about the concept of celebrating Father's day, Basheer opined that he doesn't believe in observing a special day to felicitate the parents.
"You won't understand the pain of a father until you become one. But, please have a small thought in mind. They are struggling each day for you, you are their world, every day will be parent's day for you," Basheer signs off with a suggestion for all the youngsters.
