Onam is around the corner and people in Kerala have already started preparing for the festival, just like TV channels are preparing to premiere some new released Malayalam movies.
The entertainment channels are fully loaded with their long list of movies for the much awaited festival. Latest Malayalam blockbusters will make way to your TV screens this time.
TV channels announced premiere films for Onam 2017.Malayalam version of Baabubali 2 is the most awaited movie of this year. Oru Mexican Aparatha, Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu, Achayans, Take Off, Sakhavu, C/O Saira Bhanu and Puthan Panam will also be seen on TV screens. 8 latest films are going to premiere.

All Onam Special Programmes are warmly welcomed by the audience each year. Channels are keeping a healthy competition on airing Onam Special Programmes to increase or maintain their last Year Onam season rating positions.
According to recent developments in Mollywood industry, there was a report that AMMA has given strict warning to Mollywood stars asking them not to appear on any Malayalam channels on the days of the festival, this year.
However, AMMA's General Secretary Edavela Babu told that the organisation has not "officially" asked its members to boycott the Onam TV programmes.
