Popular Marathi actress Richa Agnihotri has a heart of gold and her recent Diwali celebrations are a proof of it.
She made the festival of lights brighter for the kids of a slum in Thane, Mumbai. She visited the slums of Brahmand and spent her entire evening, interacting and playing with the kids. She even distributed sweets and clothes among them.
The actress was indeed amazed by their positive approach towards the festival.
Richa took to her Instagram profile to share some candid moments captured and captioned it as, “This will be our best and most memorable Diwali as we could share our happiness and spend our time with these small children and the people staying in hutman area at Brahmand, Thane. It gave us immense pleasure in distributing sweets and clothes to them. We were highly amazed when we learnt from them that, they did not burst fire crackers for the conscious reason of air & noise pollution,
Instead they believed in illuminating the entire area with the small oil lamps and enjoying Diwali with all neighbours in traditional attire (sic).”
On work front, Richa recently played Kiyara, a character with grey shades in the show Ghadge And Suun.
