Exclusive: I instantly liked Chandane Shimpit Jashi because of it's unique concept: Actor Sachit Patil on his comeback

Actor Sachit Patil is now all set to impress the telly audience again with his performance in the TV show Chandane Shimpit Jashi. The actor is going to play the lead role 'Satyajit' in the show and is excited about his comeback to the small screen as a lead. The actor is currently active in films, theatre, and television. While exclusively talking to ETimes TV, Sachit shared his vision of working in all the entertainment mediums at the same time, why he waited for 2 years before signing Chandane Shimpit Jashi and much more.

Talking about accepting a TV project after 2 years and the concept of Chandane Shimpit Jashi, Sachit said, I was waiting for a good concept for the last 2 years, and there was not a single script that excited me. That is when Chandane Shimpit Jashi came to me. I instantly liked Chandane Shimpit Jashi because it's a really unique love story of a girl, a small-time mechanic who aspires to own a garage one day and a guy who has just returned from Boston."
Sharing his thoughts on balancing his work in films, television, and theater, Sachit said, "I returned to television after 19 years with Radha Prem Rangi Rangli in 2017. After that, I did a Maharathi play that I also did after 20 years. I was only doing films for 20 years but later, I realized that every medium has an audience, power and charm to it. You need to work for every medium to stay connected with that respective audience. I feel performing your craft in front of these varieties of audiences is a bit challenging as well as gratifying."

Sachit is excited to play 'Satyajit', who is ambitious and patriotic. Sachit said, "I am playing the character of Satyajit in the show, who has returned from the US. Satyajit is ambitious and owns a college also. Satyajit also wants to utilise his education and expertise in helping the people who can't afford to educate themselves. The audience is soon going to witness how Charu and Satyajit are going to meet and fall in love. Everything is going to reveal soon and will surely entertain everyone."
