Taufiq Qureshi to debut as judge on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Renowned percussionist Taufiq Qureshi has been roped in to judge the Marathi version of a singing reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'.
According to Sugandha Lonikar, the channel’s publicity head, it will be Taufiq’s debut as a judge on a reality show. Speaking about Taufiq’s association, Sugandha added, “Taufiq is a brilliant artiste and works with youngsters.Under his guidance, the students will learn music.” She further added, “He will be joined by music director Avadhoot Gupte. I think they both complement their respective styles. The combination of contemporary and tradition will definitely work wonders on the show.”
