Pandu, 74, passed away in the wee hours of today due to Covid-19 related complications. Actor
Manobala and other celebs from the Tamil entertainment fraternity mourned his demise.
Actor Pandu along with wife Kumudha tested positive for Covid-19 recently. Following this, they were admitted in a private hospital for further treatment. Pandu breathed his last succumbing to Covid-19 related complications.
Meanwhile, Pandu's wife Kumudha is still in the ICU, reports suggest.

Manobala, actor, producer and director of ‘Sembaruthi’, wrote, “Rip Pandu..He passed away early morning today due to covid (sic)”
Dr. Dhananjayan G wrote, “Better to switch off from all social media for sometime. Very shocking to read this morning news.
#RIPPandu sir, one of the finest human beings & actors.
Going to be on home quarantine for some days. Be safe at home friends. Take care. Very challenging days ahead (sic)”
Pandu made his acting debut in the year 1970 with the Tamil film Maanavan. He has acted in over 100 movies.
On the TV front, Pandu is popular for his performances in the shows Dhinam Dhinam Deepavali, Uravugal Sangamam, Sabitha Engira Sabapathi and Valli (as Natarajan).
