The makers of
Sillunu Oru Kaadhal
(SOK) are adding new twists and introducing new characters to spice up the storyline.
Madurai Muthu is all set to make a cameo in the popular show. The channel airing the daily soap has confirmed his entry with the teaser on its official media handles.
Muthu will be seen playing the role of
Serial Singaram
, a zamindar. The episodes featuring
Muthu as Singaram will go on air from today (April 29).
According to the storyline,
Kayalvizhi
aka Kayal (
Darshini Gowda
) faces the ire of
Suriya Kumar
’s (
Sameer Ahamathu
) family for marrying him and they try to ruin their marriage.
Meanwhile, Serial Singaram (Madurai Muthu) disguises himself as a zamindar and enters Suriya’s family. He tries to protect Kayal from Suriya’s family members. He will also play a cupid between Kayal and Surya.
Madurai Muthu has been part of comedy shows like Sunday Galatta and Comedy Junction. He is the title winner of Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru and Asatha Povathu Yaaru. He judged many debate shows as well. Muthu was last seen as a contestant of the cookery based show
