TV artist Ramar to play the lead in upcoming movie Poda Mundam

Here’s a good news for all the fans of Comedy King Ramar. Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru (KPY) fame Ramar will be seen playing the lead in the movie Poda Mundam.
Well, this is not the first time he is doing a movie. Yenda Thalaila Yenna Vekkala was his debut movie and he also featured in other films like done a number of films like, Yaaruda Mahesh, Comali and Dhilluku Dhuddu 2 as a supporting actor.But this time he will play the lead.
The fantasy comedy movie Poda Mundam is directed by debutant Mani Ram. He also has a connection with television. Mani Ram was one of the contestants of reality show TV show Naalaiya Iyakkunar.
With the film Poda Mundam, Kannada actress Sanjjanaa Galrani is making an entry to Tamil entertainment industry. She is the sister of renowned South Indian actress Nikki Galrani.
Ramar, who hails from Madurai, got a chance to feature in the TV show Adhu Idhu Edhu after many years of struggle. Since then, he didn't have to look back. Later, he took part in the comedy shows like Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru and Ramar Veedu. Ramar shot to fame with the trademark dialogue 'Ennama Ippadi Panreengale Ma'.
Ramar is known for his humorous punches and comic timing.
