VJ turned actress Manimegalai and Hussain, one of the most popular couples in the entertainment industry, is spending their lockdown phase in a village. Manimegalai is celebrating hubby Hussain's birthday today (May 4) in a special manner with the help of local villagers, neighbours and friends. She has shared the videos of the birthday celebration on social media handle.

On account of Hussain’s birthday, he received wishes from friends, industry peers and others.
Manimegalai and Hussain dater each other for quite some time before they took a leap of faith. They got married on December 6, 2017.
On the work front, Manimegalai was last seen as a contestant in the show Cooku with Comalis. She made her debut as an actress with the show Barathi Kannamma. Manimegalai has hosted a list of shows like Super Hits (her debut show), Franka Sollatta, Freeya vidu, Hot Seat, Vetti pechu, Kollywood Diaries and Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru Champions season 2 to name a few.
Hussain is an assistant choreographer in the film industry.
Manimegalai and Hussain participated in the couple-based reality show Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai and became the second runners-up.
