"Although Trinayani has a woman-centric story, male protagonist gets equal importance," says Chandu Gowda
Trinayani marked the Telugu TV debut of Kannada actor Chandu Gowda. While it's almost going to be three years since the daily soap premiered, the actor is enjoying his stint as Vishal in Trinayani.
Speaking about the same with ETimes TV, Chandu shared, "I'm absolutely enjoying playing Vishal in Trinayani. Although Trinayani has a woman-centric story, male protagonist gets equal importance. Not just that, every character in the show has its own importance. That's what I liked about it."
He added, "The viewers have also accepted the show. It's one of the most-watched daily soaps as well. So far, its a good journey."
On Trinayani being dubbed in Kannada
"Trinayani turned out to be a super hit in Hyderabad and Telangana. Hence, the makers dubbed it in Kannada as well. Likewise, the dubbed version of Trinayani also managed to strike a chord with the Kannada audience as well. It became one of the most-watched daily soaps in the afternoon slot. So, it's been going really great so far," shared Chandu.
Currently, Chandu has been traveling frequently from Bengaluru to Hyderabad owing to his shoot commitments.
"Oh! It has been a hectic schedule for me. I am juggling between my Kannada and Telugu project shoots. I complete a schedule in Bengaluru and then, I am off to Hyderabad to shoot for Trinayani. Traveling also consumes time. But, when both the shows are giving good reviews, I feel it's worth all the effort that goes behind in the making," he signed off.
