BB Telugu guest host Samantha Ruth Prabhu announces separation from husband Naga Chaitanya Akkineni; read post

Renowned actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who appeared on Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 as a guest host, announced separation from husband Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in her latest social media post.
In the note that she shared on her social networking handles, Samantha wrote, "To all our well wishers,
After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths .We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us.
We request our fans , well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on
Thanking you for your support (sic)"

Speculations were rife over their divorce for a few days already. This sudden announcement confirming the same has come across as a shock to diehard fans of the couple. Rumours of divorce gained steam when she dropped her in-law's surname 'Akkineni' from her social media handles.
She was also missing from the recent dinner that was hosted by Chaitanya and his family for actor Aamir Khan.
Samantha and Chaitanya got hitched in October, 2017, in a traditional Hindu wedding followed by a Christian wedding at Goa. The two first shared screen space in Goutham Menon's 2010 romantic drama Yem Maaya Chesave.
