Bigg Boss Telugu 2 written update, Aug 1, 2018: Samrat joins the captaincy race

The latest episode of Bigg Boss kicked off with the continuation of the previous task where roles were reversed between Pirates and Survivors. The housemates engaged in the task .
Bigg Boss announced the completion of the task. Bigg Boss added that Sunaina, Pooja, Deepthi, Samrat, Roll Rida and Geetha (belonging to Team Survivors the previous day) were the winners.
In the afternoon, Bigg Boss asked the housemates to name two best performers in the Pirates Vs Survivors task. After a discussion, Geetha, the captain of the house, named Pooja and Roll Rida and they were hence chosen as captaincy contenders.
Bigg Boss asked to name three contestants who put up a disappointing performance in the task. Geetha named herself, Samrat and Ganesh. Bigg Boss informed that one of them had a chance to be the third contender for the captaincy task. And the rest of the two contestants will be jailed.
Geetha shared with Pooja that she wants to give Ganesh a chance to be a captain. Talking to Ganesh, Kaushal opined that the rest of the inmates intentionally didn't take his name as the best performer. He thought no one is fair in the house.
Eligibility test for the third captaincy contender:
Roll Rida was the 'Chota Boss' and Pooja was his assistant. Geetha, Ganesh, and Samrat were their assistants. Both the Chota Boss and accountant
hold some cash and the assistants had to follow their orders, whatsoever. At the end of the day, the assistant with maximum cash will be the third contender for captaincy. Roll Rida (Chota Boss) ordered Samrat to act like a girl, Geetha to whisper loudly and Ganesh to dress up like a villager and shake his belly before replying to anyone.
Samrat entertained everyone enacting as a girl. His ramp walk, antics wooed the housemates. He flirted with Babu Gogineni, Amit and even gave massage to Roll Rida. Geetha and Ganesh also tried to entertain the housemates as per the instructions of the Chota Boss and the accountant. Kaushal and Nandini thought they played a smart game yet the housemates were unfair in the task.
Samrat was the winner of the task with maximum cash. He was the third contender for the captaincy task. Geetha and Ganesh were jailed.
Talking to the camera, Kaushal reported that Ganesh was indeed the best performer but not Roll Rida. Kaushal added that he wanted to use his jail card and release Ganesh.
In conversation with Amit, Pooja said that Roll Rida was not the best performer. Bigg Boss for the first time ever cautioned Amit to talk in Telugu.
Bigg Boss permitted Kaushal to release Ganesh from jail. Ganesh felt Kaushal should have sought his consent before using his jail card. Geetha and Deepthi discussed Roll Rida's tactics in the task.
