Bigg Boss Telugu 2 written update, August 24, 2018: Deepthi becomes the new captain; Nutan makes a comeback

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 2, actors Aadi Pinisetty, Taapsee Pannu and Rithika Singh interacted with the housemates, promoted their upcoming release and left the house.
The housemates discussed the bonding between them and the captaincy challenge.
Bigg Boss later announced that the first two housemates sitting on the couch in the confession room on the ring of a siren would be the captaincy contenders.Kaushal and Deepthi emerged to be the contenders.
Majority of the housemates decided to support Deepthi. They teased Deepthi, Kaushal, and Ganesh as well. While Pooja was in no mood to talk to Kaushal for his unfair play in the previous task.
Captaincy Task:
Two weighing machines were placed for the contenders (one each) in the garden area. Every housemate had to weigh belongings and drop in the basket of the contender they support giving their reasons behind their support. The contender with the maximum weight emerges the winner. Syamala was chosen as the chancellor. She had to announce the winner and put the winner’s weighed belongings in the storeroom.
After the completion of the task, chancellor Syamala announced Deepthi as the winner and the new captain of the house. In a regular meet later, Deepthi thanked the housemates for their support and proposed new ideas for the smooth functioning of the house. The housemates gave their opinions and feedback.
Bigg Boss called Deepthi into confession room and ordered her to ensure that the housemates follow all the rulers and do not play any games in the house. Deepthi conveyed the same to the inmates.
Nutan Nadu made a comeback into the house. The housemates gave him a warm welcome. They discussed the nominations and later at midnight, wished Geetha Madhuri a happy birthday.
