Bigg Boss Telugu – 4th August 2017, Episode 20 Update: Adarsh becomes new house captain; Mumait gets upset

The contestants wake up to the hit single of Jr NTR ‘Rendu Vela Rendu Varaku’. Prince is the first one up and is seen dancing merrily to the song while the rest of the inmates grudgingly open their eyes. Mumaith wishes for a new male entrant in the house: someone tall, dark and handsome. Dhanraj says that ‘Satyam Rajesh’ would fit the bill perfectly.Mumaith complains to Archana that Adarsh did not do a good job on his task the previous day.
Bigg Boss then interrupts Mumaith saying that all inmates should compulsorily speak only in Telugu. As a punishment for Mumaith not speaking in Telugu, Bigg Boss orders that a plaster be put over her mouth and not be removed until further instructions. As captain of the House, for failing to ensure that all inmates spoke only in Telugu, Prince is asked to take 50 dips in the pool. After every dip, he should come out, stand in front of the camera and apologise. Prince accepts and finishes his punishment. In the afternoon, Mumaith is relieved of her punishment and inmates are once again warned not to speak or sing in any language other than Telugu. Kartheeka, Adarsh and Mumaith are in the race for captaincy and Bigg Boss instructs them to start canvassing for votes. The captain would ultimately be decided by secret ballot.
The inmates contemplate on who would make a good captain even as Kartheeka, Adarsh and Mumaith campaign for votes. Siva Balaji and Sameer reflect that Mumaith is obsessed with becoming captain at any cost. The voting happens and Prince and Mahesh Kathi count the votes. Adarsh gets 5 votes, Mumaith gets 4 and Kartheeka gets 3. While Adarsh has voted for Kartheeka, Mumaith voted for herself. Adarsh is declared the winner and new captain. Siva Balaji sarcastically congratulates Mumaith and she asks him whether he has gone mad.
Bigg Boss says Adarsh as captain should discharge his responsibilities sincerely. Later, when Siva Balaji goes up to Mumaith, she breaks into tears and asks him to stay away. A crying Mumaith tells Archana and the other girls that she lost because of Siva Balaji. She later tells Dhanraj that they didn’t elect her captain because of her temper. Mahesh Kathi criticises Dhanraj for calling himself a friend of Mumaith and voting for Adarsh. He says Dhanraj is a manipulator. The episode ends with Dhanraj having a tete-a-tete with Adarsh over Mumaith Khan.
Tonight's episode will have some serious action as the contestant who will be evicted from the episode is revealed.
