Nikhil Siddharth, Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher starrer Karthikeya 2 set for its world TV premiere

This Sunday is going to be an entertaining one as a recent pan-Indian blockbuster is set for its world TV premiere.
Karthikeya 2’s (Telugu) TV premiere is scheduled on November 20 (Sunday) at 6PM on a popular General Entertainment Channel (GEC) that airs popular daily soaps like Trinayani et al.
The action, adventure and fantasy drama featuring Nikhil, Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher and others in the lead roles had its theatrical release in August this year.The pan Indian release had a successful theatrical run with a box-office collection estimated over Rs. 120 crores, trade reports suggest.
The plot of Karthikeya 2 revolves around a suspended doctor, who embarks on an adventure to find a mysterious anklet in Greece which has its origins in the era of Lord Krishna. What odds and evil force did he face to accomplish his mission forms the crux of the plot.
While Nikhil plays the role of the male protagonist Karthik, Anupama can be seen as Mugdha. Eminent actor Anupam Kher essayed the role of Dr. Dhanvantri Vedpath in the film which also features Srinivas Reddy, Harsha Chemudu, Aditya Menon and others.
Chandoo Mondeti, who also directed the first instalment in the Karthikeya series, has written and directed the sequel too. Abhishek Agarwal and Vishwa Prasad have bankrolled the project. Karthik Ghattamaneni is the cinematographer while Kalabhairava has scored music for the sequel.
