Bareilly's pet lovers come forward as volunteers to feed the stray dogs in the city during the period of lockdown. As these strays are dependent on the remains and scraps left by eateries/eating joints, bakery shops, restaurants, meat/chicken markets that are all shut, for their survival, these young volunteers have come forward and feeding them with bread, milk, leftover fruits, rotis, rusks and even dog food, and preventing these stray dogs from starvation.
