Pageant veteran Carmen Isabel Muñoz Guzmán, representing the province of Duarte,was crowned Miss República Dominicana Universo 2017 at the conclusion of the pageant held Saturday, August 26.The 24-year-old former Miss International Dominican Rpeublic titleholder, will now compete in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
