Bengaluru civic body misses 5th deadline, roads still not pothole free

In what seemed to have become a constant caper, Bengaluru civic body has managed to default for the fifth time on a self imposed deadline to fill the potholes of the city. Despite the development minister KJ George claiming that over 90% of the potholes has been filled, the city roads remain generously peppered with craters. CM Siddaramaiah has given BBMP a 15 day deadline on October 10. But BBMP has missed the deadlines and got extension after extension and still fails to fill all of those potholes.
