India is a country of different culture, language, and ethnic diversity. In India we have different temples, churches, gurudwaras and masjids. All places of worship has have their own different style and architecture. When we talk about different architecture, Indore’s famous Kaanch Mandir comes into our mind. Built by Seth Hukamchand in 1921, this temple narrates the saga of its story through its unique glasswork. This temple is primarily dedicated to Jainism. Hundreds of people from all over the country and abroad regularly visit the temple. The interior of Kanch Mandir is entirely covered by glass panels and mosaics; including the floor, columns, walls and the ceilings. Seth Hukumchand procured the materials used for the construction of the temple from Iran and Belgium and hired craftsmen from Jaipur and some even from Iran to work on the temple. This magnificent temple built during the reign of Holkar dynasty will continue to mesmerize the coming generation with its architectural aesthetic.
