The Indian National Congress (INC) is all set to launch its much anticipated ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ on September 07. The 3,500-km-long foot march is deemed to be the longest political march to have been ever conducted in the country. The foot march, that will kick-off on September 08, will be led by Rahul Gandhi. Party leaders and workers will walk alongside Rahul Gandhi from Kanniyakumari to Kashmir. On the occasion, Congress General Secretary in-charge of communications Jairam Ramesh said, “This is a decisive transformational moment for Indian politics. It's also a fantastic opportunity for Congress to strengthen the party organisation and reconnect with the people.”
