Delhi authorities are putting the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) anti-pollution program in place from October 15. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) will intensify ground action throughout Delhi NCR. 41 specialised teams have been set up to carry out field visits in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad. The teams objective is to monitor and report pollution violations such as open waste dumping and burning. In addition, WAYU devices will be set up across Delhi to help regulate air pollution.
