Kerala gold smuggling case: First term of P Vijayan govt was underworld mafia, says MoS V Muraleedharan

After the allegations of involvement of Kerala Chief Minister in gold smuggling case, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan on June 17 termed the first term of CM Pinarayi Vijayan government as an ‘underworld mafia’ and asserted that the CM needs to explain this to public. “When one looks at allegations of the accused lady, one comes to the conclusion that the first term of Pinarayi Vijayan govt was underworld mafia. CM needs to explain to the public and he can’t run away. Why is he trying to stop an inquiry by CBI?” he said.
