Kochi metro services to resume

Kochi Metro services will resume on September 7. Initially, 10 trains will operate from 7 am to 9 pm; services will increase according to passenger traffic. All pandemic protocol will be followed and fogging and sanitisation was being undertaken before services were set to resume. Temperature scanning of passengers will be done before they enter the station, with an isolation room for any passenger with high body temperature. Each service will carry only up to 200 passengers, rather than the 975 people who can travel under regular circumstances.
