Agra Dalit couple 'sells' baby boy to clear hospital dues

A Dalit couple in Agra went to a private hospital for delivery of their baby. However, the couple says that since the boy was born through C-section, and the couple didn't have money to pay the bills. The couple alleges that the hospital asked them to 'sell' their baby boy for Rs 1 lakh. The hospital, on the other hand, says the couple 'gave up' their child for adoption. The district administration has launched a probe into the matter.
